Two weeks ago , we have launched our new website .. but I saw that it’s important to clarify some matters and issues related to depiak .. nearly , I’ll try to cover all things ..

Firstly , what is depiak ?If you check the page”about us” you will find some bit about us .. but I’ll explain in details.. depiak is a team gathered from Engineering students from Egypt , actually , Mansoura University , interested in different fields of IT,but mainly , they are working hard with web development and programming stuff.We are a “foundation” under a big team called “Computer Assistance Team”(CAT).

All (CAT) foundations and members during this period have some beliefs that are part of our main work and activity .. but the main belief is “renaissance” .But what’s renaissance?

We define renaissance as “enough”..and “enough” is “enough” for all wrong , bad , unordered things we face and find in our society .

We do not lie on ourselves and say that our society is one of the best societies  , but we also do not lie on ourselves and say that we do not have the ability to make the change .. and to have the renaissance.

The “society” word here means our internal depiak society , our faculty , our university , our city and the most important thing is Egypt.

We believe that we had mistakes , but at the same time we did good things .. and we are aiming now to be as best as possible , avoiding our previous mistakes , and adding the sense of creativity.

We aim to change Egypt’s current situation and most of people’s thoughts,which we believe that they are truly destructive thoughts .We aim to implant the best things in our society’s people, motivate them to work , and to turn from what we are witnessing nowadays of negativity,selfishness,bad morals and non affiliation.We have to say “enough” to the wrong things we see, and we have to find alternatives for what’s already wrong in our community.

We write in English and Arabic , and we are proud to write in Arabic , because besides it’s our mother tongue , it’s the language that all sciences that changed the world nowadays were written with.

We are not a political community or party , but we are a team that “will” make the renaissance.

We do not like to be like “Google”, “Microsoft” and all these big corporations and companies .. we do not like to be like anyone in this world .. we are not seeking to make our country be like any country of the first-world ones , but we are working now to be as we were one day and to regain our place in this world..and we believe that we were the best .

Our belief of being the best does not mean that we are fanatics . The matter is not related to any fanaticism , but it originates from our desire and need to “prove” and to “be” ourselves again.We will be collaborating with people from the whole world , with all languages , we will learn and teach , and we will be the beacon of guidance for everyone who needs our help , because it’s our duty in this world  , and because we believe that our ancestors were also beacons of Guidance to the whole world.

Many people ask us this question .. ” and so you are the ones who will change this world?you are the ones who believe that they can do something?do you have abilities for that?” ..

we are receiving questions like these and “more” every while .. and “yes , we are the ones who will change the world..even if we do not have the abilities now , we are developing them” .. so , if you want your name to be carved out as a one who left this life with a visible change and contributions that helped people:helped them to be better , and “changed” something in their deep internals , you are welcomed to join us ! but actually we do not do all that so that at last we will be having our names carved out and people say that “depiak” or “CAT” did something good , we are working to “change” something to be good and to be a “reason” for change , not only an effect for that change , and before anyting , we work for the sake of”Allah” .” لله قبل اى شئ”

It’s not shame to say that you are “now” less than the others , but it’s shame to leave all things and not to work hard to be the best..the best of them and the best of yourself..and we didn’t get to have shame in our life , and we do not accept that.It’s not a shame also to use the existing sciences and technologies , but the shame is to be just”users” and not trying to get into a new phase ,which is knowledge” creators”.

We are now making a “solid” base : members base , technical base and financial base , and we may not show people what we are doing in our labs , but believe that we are working hard..So , things will appear when they are ready to be out ..

I’ll make a post dedicated for our current and done work,but it’s not my goal now when writing this post.

We have some dreams that are turned now to goals, and we do not like to be just “users” and “followers” to the existing technology , but we will have our own creative ideas and contributions out to the world soon.We are turning to be “technology” and “knowledge” creators, where after that we can benefit everyone on this planet.

We believe in our abilities , we believe in Allah , we believe that Egypt can be better and before anything we love Egypt .. and so , we will continue what we started , to make the “renaissance” and the “change”.
